Machinery manufacturing industry has always played an important role in China's traditional industries.Because of the continuous improvement of China's economic form and the increasing optimization of industrial automation mode,traditional machinery manufacturing industry is facing major changes.As the last link of machinery manufacturing,assembly line is the most important part of machinery manufacturing industry,so it is necessary to improve the assembly line.As an old machinery manufacturing enterprise,company A should improve its production capacity under the current situation.Therefore,this paper takes the GR180 DII grader assembly line of company A as an example to improve its assembly line from two parts: the coating line and the general assembly and sub assembly line.This paper first analyzes the background and significance of production line and assembly line improvement in the current situation,and summarizes the research on this topic at home and abroad.After that,this paper first analyzes the specific situation of company A,and makes SWOT analysis,which shows the necessity of improving the production capacity of company A.In the next improvement process,the first improvement goal is to achieve the annual production demand of 3000 graders,and the next improvement is to achieve this goal.Then,according to the specific operation research,this paper get the specific process flow of the assembly line and find out the possible problems in the assembly line,finally propose the subsequent improvement plan.In the improvement process of the coating line,the coating line is improved from three aspects: workpiece suspension mode,production beat improvement and coating finished product cache,which ultimately makes the production capacity of the coating line meet the production requirements of the enterprise,optimizes the number of workers in the work station,and develops standard operation drawings for reference in subsequent production.In the process of improving the general assembly line,the working hours of each process of the assembly line are determined by time measurements,and the process rearrangement and merging of each working position are optimized by ECRS principle.Finally,the balance rate of the general assembly line is increased from 78.1% to 90.1%.Due to the reduction of bottleneck working hours,the production capacity of the assembly line has been improved accordingly,meeting the annual production demand of 3000 graders.This paper takes GR180 DII grader assembly line of company A as the research object,analyzes the specific situation of the assembly line,uses the relevant means of industrial engineering and lean production to optimize the assembly line,meets the target production capacity of the enterprise,improves the balance rate of the assembly line,and can be used as a reference for other manufacturing industries to improve the assembly line production capacity.This paper has 13 figures,17 tables and 81 references.
