At present,the primary school architectural design in our country mostly starts from the function and space of the primary school,and only meets the basic needs of use.Architectural design is uniform.In the process of design,the principal and architect of the school and other adults make decisions.There is a problem of insufficient consideration of children's psychology and behavior.Primary school is a place where a person spends his childhood.A person's enlightenment begins from here.Primary school architectural design is particularly important for children's growth and future development.Children's psychology and behavior should be fully considered in primary school design.Firstly,this paper studies the theory of children's psychology and behavior,and finds out the relationship between primary school architectural design and children's psychology and behavior.Based on this,the paper summarizes three tendencies of children's mind middle school through the interpretation of children's paintings in "School in Mind".Through the field investigation and questionnaire investigation of seven representative primary school buildings,it summarizes the common design problems that lack consideration of children's psychology and behavior in primary school buildings at the emergence stage,as well as the common design problems based on children's psychology and behavior considerations.Use design techniques.On this basis,the design strategies based on children's psychology and behavior are summarized,which are elaborated from four aspects: architectural image,internal space,activity site and greening landscape.The adaptation of teaching space to new education mode and the introduction of learning landscape are studied in depth.Finally,based on the above conclusions and the specific design requirements of Nanhu Primary School in Qujiang,the paper elaborates the project background,challenges,design principles and its generation process,and considers the combination of primary school architectural design and children's psychology and behavior through the design process of actual projects.
