On December 31,2019,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China ? the National Development and Reform Commission issued the “Engineering General Contract Management Measures of Housing Construction and Municipal Infrastructure Projects”(hereinafter referred to as the “Measures”),the “Measures” provide a clear implementation path.In the process of project project management under the EPC mode,the engineering general contractor was given greater authority,but at the same time it also bore most of the risks.Therefore,in the process of engineering project implementation under the EPC mode,the engineering general contractor will face more uncertainties,which also puts forward higher requirements on the project management capability of the engineering general contractor.And the schedule management is one of the main contents in project management,so the engineering project under EPC mode will also face the risk of delaying the schedule target.Based on this,from the perspective of the engineering general contractor,this paper studies the schedule risk of construction projects under the EPC mode.This paper determines the schedule risk index of the engineering project under the EPC mode through the literature analysis method,and constructs schedule risk index system of the engineering project under the EPC mode.Through the analytic hierarchy process and gray theory,the engineering project schedule risk under the EPC mode is evaluated,which provides a certain theoretical basis for the promotion of the engineering general contracting mode.Details as follows:Firstly,the research purpose,significance,content and research methods of the engineering project schedule risk under the EPC mode are introduced,and combing the domestic and foreign research status of schedule risk?EPC mode and related theories,which laid the theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Secondly,the engineering project schedule risk indexs were sorted out through the literature analysis method,and then the literature related to the EPC mode and silver book were combined to find indexs that can improve the engineering project schedule risk in the EPC mode,thus the preliminary selection index system of the engineering project schedule risk under EPC mode is determined.Through rough set attribute reduction,the unnecessary and redundant schedule risk indexs in the primary selection index system are eliminated,and the final engineering project schedule risk system in the EPC mode is obtained.Finally,an evaluation model was constructed by the grey analytic hierarchy process,so as to evaluate the engineering project schedule risk under the EPC mode,and analyze it with a case.This thesis through the study of the engineering project schedule risk under the EPC mode will help implement the spirit of a series of documents of the State Council?the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development,and also help raise the engineering general contractor's understanding of schedule risks,so that the engineering general contractor is more scientific formulate schedule risk response strategies to ensure the achievement of schedule goals,thereby promoting the vigorous promotion of the engineering general contracting mode.
