Study On Schedule Risk Management In Construction Project

Schedule control is one of the three project control targets; it becomes especially important in construction project. The three targets have inner closely linked; it will influence the cost and construction quality if the schedule management goes wrong. For this reason, we need a Scientific and reasonable plan in construction process.In the process, we will inevitably meet some uncertain factors, which can affect the schedule plan, and then the schedule risk will have been generated.Risk exists everywhere, so does the construction. In order to make the project successfully completed, schedule risk management is needed. This thesis discusses schedule risk management established in construction project. First of all, schedule risk management is a branch of schedule management, so it starts with schedule plan, which is based on program evaluation and review technique. Then with the PERT and the use of risk identification technology, risk factors in each process will be identified, after that, the identified risk factors will be analyzed. Then we can get the synthetically sequencing of them, with the sequencing we can manage the risk factors with targeted management. Finally, in the end of this thesis, it puts forward the countermeasures of schedule risk management, which is, risk aversion, transfer of risk and risk privately owned.In the risk assessment phase, this thesis mainly introduced the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), calculating the weight of influence for each process, which can get the main risk factors of each process. It gives main basis to risk decision.
