Due to the pressure of environment,economy and industrial restructuring,the transformation of Handan's iron and steel industry can not be avoided.Some factories have been or will be closed down and abandoned.As a typical representative of high consumption and high pollution in industrial industry,iron and steel industry has a considerable area left behind after the abolition of its original functions,as well as large-scale buildings and structures.These industrial heritage resources need to be renewed and reused urgently.The acceleration of urbanization puts forward higher requirements for heritage protection and reuse of Handan iron and steel industry.The scientific protection and reuse of the iron and steel industry heritage in Handan can create more favorable conditions for the development of Handan city and the activation of the region.Firstly,this paper clarifies the background,purpose and significance of the study.Through the analysis of typical cases of iron and steel related industrial heritage at home and abroad,it summarizes and summarizes various strategies suitable for the protection and reuse of iron and steel industrial heritage,and illustrates the reference significance of these reuse strategies for Handan iron and steel industrial heritage.Based on the characteristics of Handan city,the present situation of Handan's iron and steel industry is explained,and the historical context of Handan's iron and steel industry development is sorted out with the establishment of New China as the time node.The reasons for Handan's iron and steel industry heritage industry are clarified by analyzing the environment and the supply and demand of production capacity,and the dilemma faced by Handan's iron and steel industry heritage protection and reuse is further analyzed.Secondly,the coking plant of Hangang Group,a well-known iron and steel enterprise in Handan City,is selected as the key research object.The external environment and the composition of industrial heritage resources of the coking plant are analyzed and sorted out,and the problems that need to be solved for protection and reuse are summarized according to individual cases.The ontological value of the coking plant formed during the development and evolution of the iron and steel industry in Handan City is deeply excavated.And the value of reuse,and the main buildings andstructures in the plant area for value assessment and grading.Finally,the goals and principles of the protection and reuse of the iron and steel industry heritage of the Handan Coking Plant were formulated,and the analysis and determination of the overall plant reuse model were made from the perspectives of policy and public participation.Based on the selected landscape park development strategy,preliminary planning and conception of the plant area is carried out.Through a series of environmental restoration measures,the environment of the plant area was comprehensively improved.Based on the immaterial and material aspects of the plant's industrial heritage resources,protection and reuse strategies are proposed.Based on the previous assessment of the value of the main buildings and structures,different protection and reuse transformation strategies are identified and proposed for transformation.
