Natural gas,as a clean energy,plays an important role in modern society,and its billing method is still based on manual meter reading.With the rapid development of cities,people's demand for gas is increasing.The traditional manual meter reading method is far from meeting this demand.This method is time-consuming and labor-intensive,and the accuracy and timeliness cannot be guaranteed.In addition,Difficult to enter a household,many door locks,high labor intensity,low efficiency,criminals are easy to use entry meter reading to commit crimes,etc.At the same time,it also brings great trouble to gas companies and gas users.In order to solve the above problems,some newly built communities have basically adopted intelligent gas metering and charging models.At present,there are mainly four types of intelligent gas metering and charging models at home and abroad: smart IC gas meters,cable centralized meter reading,Use power line carrier communication meter reading and wireless centralized meter reading,but they still have many deficiencies.IC card gas meter technology is affected by power supply and cannot work normally when power is turned off;wired centralized meter reading technology and power line carrier meter reading technology are subject to power supply and wiring The impact of this also requires the dismantling and modification of the original gas meter;the wireless centralized meter reading method can easily lead to data transmission delays or even transmission errors and thus cause unnecessary losses to the gas company.Therefore,if you want to improve work efficiency,you must find a new and reasonable and feasible method to replace the traditional meter reading method.This article introduces a new type of self-help meter reading method and meter reading device for household gas meters.This meter reading method is to modify the dial without disassembling the original gas meter,and it is automatically sent monthly by the data collection conversion box module.Data reading command,usually the reading module does not need to work,only after it receives the reading command,it starts to recognize the gas meter dial data,so the power consumption is extremely low,and then send the read data to the data through the transmission module The collection and conversion box module is used tostore records,and the meter reading personnel only need to go to the downstairs of the community to read the data on a monthly basis.At the same time,the data collection and conversion box module can also individually query the gas usage of a user.In this paper,three data reading schemes of smart glass reading,image sensor collection,and photoelectric detection are proposed,and then combined with cost,practicability,and ease of operation to compare,select an optimal scheme for research and design,data transmission The method can choose wired transmission such as Ethernet and CAN communication,or wireless transmission such as Bluetooth and WiFi transmission.In this paper,a best transmission method is selected by combining transmission distance and transmission reliability.With this new type of meter reading device,meter readers do not need to knock door-to-door to inquire,and the meter reading device has strong practicality,high accuracy and easy operation,which greatly reduces the design cost and design difficulty,and is also suitable for large-scale promotion.
