Rice is the first cereal crop in China,which occupies an important status in the agricultural production and national economy.However,the mechanization level of planting and harvesting is weak,which has seriously affected the development of rice planting in our country.Transplanting mechanism and seedling feeder mechanism are the core parts of high-speed rice transplanter,the performance directly affects the planting effect.Focusing on the related technologies,the paper researches the technologies and theory of elliptic gear type transplanting mechanism and screw shaft type seedling feeder mechanism.The paper studies the situation and shortcomings of transplanting machine in the investigation of a large number of relevant research and literature all over the world.Which briefly introduces the working principle of transplanting mechanism and seedling feeder mechanism,compared the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional with high-speed mechanism,and points out the development trend of transplanting machine.According to the theory of elliptic gears and tooth profile translation theory,it establishes the 3D modeling of elliptic gear through using CAXA combined with UG in order to solve the problem,which is not able to be established directly in CAD software.According to the basic requirements of agricultural about needle track,the paper researches the transmission characteristics and design method objects to the pitch curve of the elliptic gear through the counter thinking design,and find that the same parameters but different the rotary centers of elliptic gear can also meet the requirement of planting agriculture.Which provides the theoretical basis for follow-up of elliptical gears.According to the agronomic requirements for lateral send seedling quantity,using curve fitting functions of MATLAB and curve projection function of UG to establish the mathematical model and entity model.Checking the diameter of the screw shaft from the design concept of reducing wear and reduce the damage failure.The 3D models of mechanisms are set up and the whole assembly are proposed in UG,while kinematics simulation is implemented to verify the rationality about the prototype model in ADAMS.The elliptic gears and the vertical feeding seedlings mechanism are improved.Afterwards,analyze respectively the modal analysis of the screw shaft and to verify the strength of the slider in ANSYS.
