Subclinical mastitis is one of the most serious diseases that impede the development of the dairy industry.Due to the high incidence of this disease and not easily to be perceived,it often causes huge economic losses to dairy. In this study,to investigate the incidence of subclinical mastitis and Chinese herbal medicine for SCC improvement and production performance of dairy cows,we did all the statistics and analysis of DHI data of a dairy farm in Shaanxi Province.A clinical trial study on the effect of Chinese herbs on somatic cell improvement and production performance of dairy cows with a view to provide a new way of thinking for prevention and treatment of subclinical mastitis. The results are as follows:To explore the different years, seasons, the lactation stages, the incidence of subclinical mastitis in dairy cows milk production through the dairy farm from 2014 to 2017,and DHI data statistics and analysis in 2017.The results showed that the average number of somatic cells and the incidence of subclinical mastitis of lactation cows varied greatly from year to year, and the milk yield did change a little. In this dairy farm, the incidence of subclinical mastitis was 15.74%.The incidence of subclinical mastitis was improved with the increase of the number of births, and the difference between diverse births was significant(P<0.05).In different seasons, the incidence of subclinical mastitis was significantly different(P<0.05),with the highest incidence from September to November for reaching 23.7%.The incidence of subclinical mastitis in cows decreases with the increase of lactation days, and the difference between lactation stages is very significant(P<0.01).The incidence of lactation was 18.46% when the lactation volume was less than 20 kg.With the increase of daily milk production, the incidence became lower and lower, and the difference was extremely significant(P<0.01).20 cows with subclinical mastitis were randomly divided into two groups for the efficacy test of Chinese herbal additive, group B was treated with Chinese herbal medicine, and group A was the control group. At the 10 th day after medication,LMT method was used to determine the curative effect. The results showed that the number of effective heads was 9 in group B.Group A did not take medicine and the effective number of head was 2.The DHI data of each year before and after administration were compared by adding Chinese herbal additives to the diet of a lactating dairy cow group and the changes of milk yield per day, body cell number, milk lipid rate, milk protein rate, lipid egg ratio, urea nitrogen and WHI in milk were analyzed. The results showed that the number of somatic cells, daily milk production, urea nitrogen, lactolipidemic rate and lactoalbumin rate were significantly different(P<0.01),lipid ratio and WHI egg in no significant difference(P > 0.05)and somatic cell count decreased significantly(P < 0.01)before and after the use of Chinese herbal medicine additives in a dairy herd. The number of somatic cells decreased from(45.52 + 31.40)×10,000 /mL before and after administration to(29.43 + 19.56)×10,000 /mL after administration.According to the results, the number of body cells in milk of lactating cows can be significantly decreased and the quality of milk can also be improved using Chinese herbal medicine additive...
