In this experiment,‘Cuiguan',‘Chuxial?',‘Whangkeumbae',‘Yuguan'which are the main cultivars grown in Zhejiang Province were as the female parent,with‘Xiyuanbai',‘Yaoli',‘Xipi',‘Mugua',‘Huixi',‘Jinhuazao'which chosen in‘Huizhouxueli'strain,as the male parent were crossbred respectively.The botanical and photosynthetic characteristics of the six hybrid combinations of‘Whangkeumbae'pear seedlings were observed.The above pollination combination,we studied the fruit setting rate,fruit quality.Then the separation variability and the extent of variation in plant traits of hybrid combinations were analyzed.The test results are as follows:1.The pollen germination rate of six male parent cultivars were studied.The results showed that the pollen germination rate reached more than 20%,so the condition of pollination for pear is up to standard.The pollen vitality of‘Xipi'and‘Xiyuanbai'were higher,and the tree also have high fruit setting rate after choosing their two cultivars as pollinated variety The fruit setting rate of‘Whangkeumbae'בHuixi'combination almost reached 97%and the fruit setting rate of hand pollination is significantly higher than natural pollination.2.Studies on external fruit quality of four cultivars pears in Zhejiang Province,the results showed that the pollen xenia had effect on fruit firmness,fruit color,longitudinal and traverse diameter,fruit shape index,most obviously on fruit weight.The weight of‘Chuxial?'pear was316.57g by choosing‘Huixi'as pollination cultivars,it's 20%higher than that(258.55g)from the natural pollination.3.Studies on internal fruit quality of four cultivars pears in Zhejiang Province,the results showed that the pollen xenia had effect on soluble solids content,titratable acidity,sugar acid ratio,vitamin C content,and stone cell content,most obviously on soluble sugar.The content of soluble sugars was 9.69%in the‘Cuiguan'pear fruit by choosing‘Huixi'as pollination cultivars,it's 74%higher than that from the natural pollination.4.Research on comprehensive evaluation of pear fruit quality,the fruit quality was the best in screening test of pollinating cultivars for‘Cuiguan'pear when choosing‘Huixi'and‘Jinhuazao'as the male parent,so appropriate pollination cultivars for‘Cuiguan'pear are‘Huixi'and‘Jinhuazao'.Experiment on screening pollination cultivars in‘Chuxial?'pear,the appropriate pollination cultivars are‘Jinhuazao'and‘Xiyuanbai'.Experiment on Screening Pollination Cultivars in‘Whangkeumbae',the fruit quality was the best by choosing‘Xiyuanbai'and‘Xipi'as the male parent,so appropriate pollination cultivars for‘Whangkeumbae'pear are‘Xiyuanbai'and‘Xipi'.Experiment on screening pollination cultivars in‘Yuguan',the fruit quality was the best by choosing‘Huixi',‘Xipi'and‘Xiyuanbai'as the male parent,so appropriate pollination cultivars for‘Yuguan'pear are‘Huixi',‘Xipi'and‘Xiyuanbai'.5.The male parent named‘Xiyuanbai'is growing stronger than other hybrid seedlings of 6combinations,the plant height(111.07 cm)is significantly greater than the other combinations,and the ground diameter is great.The P_n of‘Xiyunbai'בWhangkeumbae'hybrid combination is largest,reached 4.54?mol/m~2·s,and the F_m/F_o,F_v/F_m,NPQ are larger than the other hybrid combinations.Accordingly,the photosynthetic characteristics and the resistance to photoinhibition is better.The male parent named‘Jinhuazao'and‘Yaoli'displayed separate variability in hybrid seedlings.The‘Jinhuazao'בWhangkeumbae'hybrid combination has whorled leaves,and the‘Yaoli'בWhangkeumbae'hybrid combination for the significant variation of leaf shape is showing palmate notch shape,and showed excellent resistance to diseases and insect pests.
