Objective:By comparing the contents of NSE and MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid and serum between the experimental group and the control group,we discussed the clinical significance of the changes in the content of Japanese encephalitis?JE?.Methods:The 35 patients with JE admitted in the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from June 2016 to September 2017 as the experimental group, and were divided into light, ordinary, heavy, very heavy type.During the same period,20 patients in paediatrics as the control group, who were suspected to have intracranial infection hospitalized, and then excluded through the lumbar puncture and other related cerebrospinal fluid examination. The clinical data, cerebrospinal fluid and serum specimens were collected, and the contents of NSE and mip-1?in the cerebrospinal fluid and serum were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay?ELISA?.Comparison between groups using independent sample t test?normal distribution?or rank sum test?skewness distribution?,The value of NSE and MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid and serum in differentiating between JE and non intracranial infectious diseases were analyzed by ROC curve. In the experimental group, the analysis of variance was used.Spearman rank correlation analysis of cerebrospinal fluid and serum NSE,MIP-1?and the severity of JE.The relationship between the content of NSE and MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid and serum was investigated by linear regression analysis.Results:1.Comparison between groups:?1?the content of NSE in the cerebrospinal fluid and serum of the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?Z=-5.651,t=5.408,P=0.000?.?2?the content of MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid of experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant?Z=-2.922,P=0.003?,but the content of MIP-1?in serum was no difference between the two groups?Z=-0.787,P=0.431?.2.Comparison in the group:?1?NSE in cerebrospinal fluid:the content of NSE in cerebrospinal fluid of the very heavy type was higher than light, ordinary, heavy type.the heavy type was higher than light, ordinary type?P<0.05?.there was no difference between ordinary and light type?P>0.05?.?2?NSE in serum:the content of NSE in serum of the very heavy type was higher than light, ordinary, heavy type.the heavy type was higher than light, ordinary type?P<0.05?.there was no difference between ordinary and light type?P>0.05?.?3?MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid:the content of MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid of the very heavy type was higher than light and ordinary type?P<0.05?.there was no difference between heavy and very heavy, heavy and ordinary, heavy and light, ordinary and light type?P>0.05?.?4?MIP-1?in serum:the content of MIP-1?in serum of the heavy and very heavy type was higher than light and ordinary type?P<0.05?.there was no difference between heavy and very heavy, ordinary and light type?P>0.05?.3.ROC curve analysis:From large to small,AUC followed by NSE of cerebrospinal fluid,NSE of serum,MIP-1?of cerebrospinal fluid,MIP-1?of serum?AUC=0.901,0.854,0.739,0.436?.and there was a significant difference betweenNSEofcerebrospinalfluidandotherindicators?Z=5.091,6.324,8.608;P=0.024,0.003,0.000?.4.Spearman's rank correlation analysis:The levels of NSE in the cerebrospinal fluid?NSE in the serum?MIP-1?in the cerebrospinal fluid?MIP-1?in the serum of JE were positively correlated with the severity of the disease?rs=0.881,0.863,0.744,0.765;P=0.000?.5.Simple linear regression analysis:There is a linear relationship between the content of NSE and MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid and serum, the independent variable was the content of NSE and MIP-1?in serum, and the regression equation was yNSE=-14.005+6.843xNSE,?R2=0.814?;yMIP-1?=167.532+0.391xMIP-1?,?R2=0.718?.Conclusion:1.The levels of NSE in serum and cerebrospinal fluid and MIP-1?in the cerebrospinal fluid of JE were significantly higher than that of non-intracranial infectious diseases.2.The levels of NSE and MIP-1?in the cerebrospinal fluid and serum of JE were positively correlated with the severity of the disease.3.There is a linear relationship between the content of NSE and MIP-1?in cerebrospinal fluid and serum, and it is expected to assess the condition of the disease through observe the changes of them in serum.
