| Recently,as the aging of the population accelerates,the problem of health education for the elderly has become increasingly prominent.The advantages of mobile health education,such as strong interactivity and vivid forms,can provide a new way for health education for the elderly.But the acceptance and use of new things such as mobile smart terminals and the Internet for elderly are still affected by many factors such as fixed thinking and low education,which have made it unable to exert its maximum effect.Therefore,it is worthwhile to study the influencing factors of health education behaviors of the elderly who accept the mobile smart terminals,and promote the continued use of mobile smart terminals for health education by the elderly.This article explores the factors that affect the health education behavior of the elderly mobile smart terminals through quantitative research and qualitative interview.The specific steps are as follows.First,this article reviews the literature on mobile health education both at home and abroad and the results show that there are few studies on the use of mobile smart terminals for health education in the elderly.Therefore,on the basis of reviewing the theoretical literature on technology acceptance,research hypotheses are proposed by selecting four core variables of performance expectancy,effort expectancy,social influence,and facilitating conditions of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology,combining with the characteristics of mobile health education,introducing two influencing factors of individual innovation and perceived risk,constructing influencing factor model for the health education behavior of elderly people receiving mobile smart terminals,the research hypothesis is put forward.Secondly,the influence factor model is taken as the framework,and the questionnaire design of the influencing factors of the health education behavior of the elderly in the mobile smart terminal is carried on in this paper.Two rounds of expert consultations are conducted in the first draft of the questionnaire,and and formal questionnaires are formed based on the pre-investigation and experts' comments.Again,480 elderly people are surveyed,and invalid questionnaires are eliminated,and finally 471 valid questionnaires are obtained.In the quantitative research stage,the statistical data of the questionnaire is analyzed by using SPSS21.0 and AMOS20.0 statistical tools,and the descriptive statistical analysis,univariate analysis,reliability validity analysis and structural equation modeling analysis are performed.The results show that: 1.elderly people who have 1 type of mobile intelligent terminal are mostly,elderly people who prefer smart phones account for the majority;2.The health education of the elderly in China using mobile intelligent terminals is not good enough;3.The health education behavior of elderly people receiving mobile smart devices is related to age,education level,occupation,health status,ownership and preference of mobile smart devices;4.The questionnaire is of good reliability and validity;5.The use behavior of the influence factor model is directly positively affected by the willingness to use.Individual innovation,performance expectation,and hard work expectation have indirect positive effects on the use behavior.The ranking of effect influence is individual innovation> willingness to use> performance expectation> hard work expectation;6.In the study hypothesis,some hypotheses have been verified.Finally,on the basis of model research and qualitative interview,semi-structured interviews are conducted among senior citizens and health workers.The results of the interview validate the results of the survey.In short,based on the quantitative research and qualitative interview results,the factors that affect the health education behavior of elderly people receiving mobile smart terminals are comprehensively analyzed in this paper,and corresponding suggestions and countermeasures are proposed for the above-mentioned influencing factors to provide reference and basis for the health education activities of the elderly using mobile smart terminals. |
