Liparis nervosais widely used in fork medicine for detoxicating and hemostatic function.Plants belonging to the genus liparis,are herbaceous plants widely distributed in China.Previous phytochemical and biological investigations of Liparis nervosa disclosed the presence of a series of pyrrolizidine alkaloids,nervogenic acid,triterpenoids,steroids and flavonoids.Liparis nervosa had been confirmed to have several pharmacological actions,such as hemostatic efficacy,anti-microbial activity,as well as antioxygenation effect.Our study on Liparis nervosa,laid a good foundation for futher study on pharmacological mechanism of this plant.This thesis is divided into 3 parts.In the first part is the isolation and purification of chemical constituents of Liparis nervosa.The chemical constituents of Liparis nervosa were separated by several column chromatographic techniques,including silica gel,ODS-C18 silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,and HPLC.Then,the structures of the isolated compounds were identified by the interpretation of 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and other related spectroscopic methods.Twenty four compounds were isolated and identified from Liparis nervosa.They are 5,7-dimethoxycoumarin?1?,3-methoxy-4-hydroxybenzoate?2?,?4S?-4-?2-methylbutyl?-3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]oxazine-6-carbaldehyde?3?,?S?-4-isopropyl-3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]oxazine-6-carbaldehyde?4?,Vanillin?5?,2,5-dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyphenanthrene?6?,2,7-dihydroxy-5,6-dimethoxyphenanthrene?7?,4,5-dihydroxy-2-methoxy-9,10-dihydrophenanthrene?8?,2,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxyphenanthrene?9?,liparisnervoside Q?10?,Liparacid C?11?,Protocatechuic?12?,Kurameric acid?13?,liparisnervoside K?14?,liparisnervoside R?15?,Nervosine??16?,dihydrovomifoliol-O-?-D-glucopyranoside?17?,?6S,9R?-roseoside?18?,Nervosine??19?,Nervosine??20?,liparisnervoside D?21?,liparisnervoside C?22?,Methyl 3,5-bis?3-methyl-2-butenyl?-4-O-??-D-glucopyranosyl?benzoate?23?,and Palidosine?24?.Two new chemical constituents?10 and 15?were isolated from Liparis nervosa.Further more,compounds 1-6,8 and 9 were isolated from Liparis genus for the first time,and compounds 7,11,13,17 and 18 were isolated from Liparis nervosa for the first time.In the second part,the antimicrobial activity of the above compounds were evaluated using Oxford Cup method.Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Aspergillus niger,and saccharomyce were used as tested strain.The result showed that,compound 16,also known as Nervosine?exhibited significant antimicrobial activity agaist Staphylococcus aureus,the MIC was 0.0625mg/mL.The third part summarizede research progressthe plants of Liparis genus.This review presented the current literetures on chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of plants belonging to Liparis genus,and lay the foundation for futher studies on these plants.
