Moxibustion Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome With Phlegm Dampness Syndrome:A Randomized Placebo Control Trial

Objective:To explore the understanding of polycystic ovary syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine,through the clinical research,comparison of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in the treatment of phlegm-dampness-type polycystic ovary syndrome,objective to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine on patients with phlegm and dampness resistance type polycystic ovary syndrome,and to provide reference for clinical treatment of phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome.Methods:Sixty patients with polycystic diabetes mellitus type polycystic ovary syndrome were randomly dividedin to two groups:Treatment group(groupA)was treated with moxibustionc ombined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The control group(group B)was treated with clomiphene.Analysis(LH),luteinizing hormone / follicle stimulating hormone(LH / FSH),testosterone(T),FG score,acne score,TCM symptom score,Self-ratinganxietyscale(SAS)before and after treatment.Results:(1)Comparison of ovulation rates between the two groups before and after treatment,A,B two groups can make polycystic ovary syndrome patients ovulation improved.(2)After treatment,the two groups BMI index,A group compared with B group P <0.05;A group before and after treatment compared to P <0.01,B group before and after treatment compared to P> 0.05.(3)After treatment,the two groups of sex hormones,A group compared with B group P <0.05;A group before and after treatment compared to P <0.05,B group before and after treatment compared to P< 0.05.(4)After treatment,the two groups of F-G,acne score comparison,A group compared with B group P <0.05;Compared with group A,the scores of F-G before and after treatment in group A compared to P <0.01,the scores of F-G before and after treatment in group B compared to P <0.05;A group before and after treatment of acne score compared to P <0.05,B group before and after treatment of hairy score compared to P> 0.05.(5)After treatment,the two groups of TCM syndrome scores,menstrual cycle score comparison,A group compared with B group P <0.05;In the group,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment in group A compared to P <0.01,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment in group B compared to P >0.05;A group before and after treatment of menstrual cycle score compared to P <0.01,B group before and after treatment of menstrual cycle score compared to P <0.05.3 months after treatment,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score,A group compared with B group P <0.01;A group 3 months after treatment compared with after treatment P> 0.05,B group 3 months after treatment compared with after treatment P >0.05.(6)After treatment,the two groups of anxiety status,A group compared with B group P <0.05;Group Abefore and after treatment compared to P <0.05,B group before and after treatment compared to P> 0.05.(7)The total effective rate after treatment,90% in group A,76.67% in group B.(8)There was no damage of liver and kidney function in the course of treatment and follow-up of the two groups,but the adverse reaction in group B was more than that in group A.Conclusion:Moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome,in reducing body mass index,improve clinical symptoms,improve anxiety and safety is better than clomiphene citrate,in improving ovulation rate,improve endocrine aspects Can achieve the same treatment with clomiphene citrate,moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of the disease has advantages.
