Purpose: Through the analysis of the indexes of the patients with unstable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome)in the treatment group and the control group, the clinical effect of extracorporeal counterpulsation therapy in the treatment of the disease was observed.Method: According to the inclusion criteria,72 patients with unstable angina pectoris were selected, and the TCM syndrome differentiation was divided into Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis. The 72 patients were divided into the treatment group and the control group by the random digital table method, and 36 patients in each group were tested. The control group was treated with standard therapy, and the basic treatment was given to western medicine, such as anti thrombus and lipid stabilizing plaque. At the same time,Chinese medicine decoction of Shen Hong Tongluo was given according to the syndrome differentiation. The patients with other basic diseases were given the corresponding symptomatic treatment. The treatment group was treated with anti thrombus, lipid stabilizing plaque treatment,Chinese medicine decoction of ginseng red Tongluo and external counterpulsation therapy. The follow-up period was 4 weeks after the end of the course. Finally,we investigated the two groups of patients in the diagnosis and treatment of TCM symptoms, angina pectoris symptoms and other aspects of the scale changes, comprehensive evaluation of external counterpulsation effect.Result: After follow-up observation, the total effective rate of the patients treated with external counterpulsation in the treatment of angina pectoris was 86.11%,and the total effective rate was 72.22% higher than that of the control group. In the comparison of electrocardiogram effect, the total effective rate of the combined treatment group was 91.67%,higher than that of the control group, and the curative effect was 77.78% in the traditional Chinese medicine. The total effective rate of the external counterpulsation treatment group was 88.89%,which was higher than 72.22% of the control group. In the comparison of the rate of nitroglycerin reduction, the two groups could reduce the frequency and quantity of nitroglycerin in patients, but the difference between groups was not significant,p>0.05,not statistically significant. Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with unstable angina pectoris(Qi deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome),extracorporeal counterpulsation has the advantages of safe, effective, noninvasive and economical. It is worthy to be widely popularized and applied as a kind of basic adjuvant therapy.
