Objective: To investigate the improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndro me scores, single symptom scores, quality of life scores and cardiac function gradingb efore and after treatment of chronic heart failure patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis by Modified Baoyuan Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction, and to evaluate the changesof 6-minute walking distance, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)value,NT-proBNP an d safety index of chronic heart failure patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis bef ore and after treatment.I hope to provide more evidence and ideas for clinicaltreatme nt of chronic heart failure. Methods: 65 patients with chronic heart failure due to qi deficiency and blood st asis were enrolled in the Department of Cardiology,Second Affiliated Hospital of Fuji an University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Feb 2018 to Jan 2019.They were randomly divided into a control group of 33 patients and a treatment group of 32 pati ents. The control group was given basic treatment of western medicine, such as angiot ensin-converting enzyme inhibitor/angiotensin II receptor antagonist(ACEI/ARB),betabl ocker, aldosterone receptor antagonist, diuretic, and so on.The treatment group was gi ven the basic treatment of western medicine while adding Modified Baoyuan Xuefu Z huyu Decoction. After 28 days of treatment, the changes of traditional Chinese medici ne syndrome scores, single symptom scores, quality of life scores, cardiacfunction grad ing,6-minute walking distance,LVEF,and NT-proBNP were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease, underlyin g disease, cardiac function grading and basic medication between the two groups befor e treatment(P>0.05),suggesting that the two groups were comparable.2.Efficacy of cardiac function grading: The total effective rate was 87.50% in th e treatment group and 75.76% in the control group. The treatment group was superiort o the control group(P<0.05).3.The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores: The total effecti ve rate of the treatment group was 90.62%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 78.79%.The treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).4.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores: There was no significant differe nce between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant differen ce between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, the c omparison was statistically significant(P<0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.5.Single symptom score: There was no significant difference between the two gr oups before treatment(P>0.05).Before and after treatment, there were statisticallysign ificant differences in the group of shortness of breath/wheezing,fatigue,palpitations,fa tigue, laziness, low voice, and complexion(P<0.05).In terms of spontaneous sweatin g,the treatment group had more statistical significance(P<0.01),and there was no st atistical significance in the control group(P>0.05).After treatment, there were statistically significant differences between the groups in terms of shortness of breath/wheeze,fatigue,palpitations,fatigue,laziness,low speech, and spontaneous sweating(P<0.05).The treatment group improved shortness of breath/wheeze,fatigue,palpitations,fatigue,low voice, and the spontaneous sweat better than the control group. There was no stat istically significant difference in the color of the complexion/lips(P>0.05).The treat ment group was not better than the control group in improving the complexion/lippurp le.6.Minnesota quality of life score: There was no significant difference between th e two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, the comparison wass tatistically significant(P<0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.7.6-minute walking distance: There was no significant difference between the tw o groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, the comparison was statis tically significant(P<0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the cont rol group.8.NT-proBNP:There was no significant difference between the two groups befor e treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, the comparison was statistically signific ant(P<0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.9.LVEF by color doppler echocardiography: There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference b etween the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment, the comp arison was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion: The Modified Baoyuan Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction is effective for patie nts with qi deficiency and blood stasis type CHF.It can improve the clinical sympto msand prognosis of patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type CHF,improve th eirquality of life and heart function, without obvious adverse reactions. It is available forclinical use.
