Objective:To explore the correlation between cognitive impairment and TCM syndrome elements in patients with aMCI syndrome of kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis, and to provide some objective basis for clinical differentiation and prescription medication. Methods:The Chinese version of the Mini-mental state examination(MMSE)and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)were adopted for older persons aged 65 and 85 years of age from June 2017 to March 2018 in the Home Welfare Institute of Emei,Sichuan Province. The Alzheimer disease assessmentscale-Cognitive(ADAS-cog),the Ability of daily living(ADL),the Hachinski ischemia scale(HIS),the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),the Clinical dementia rating(CDR),and the neuropsychological assessment,The clinical information was collected by the four-diagnosis of TCM,and the Pattern Element Scale for Dementia(PES-D/11,2nd edition).Forty-seven subjects who met the inclusion criteria were tested for auditory vocabulary learning, language screening scale, digital breadth test, wired test, habitual action completion, and complex picture copying test to score their specific cognitive impairment.Correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between the characteristics of cognitive impairment and the integral of TCM syndrome elements.Results:1.There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome factors and cognitive impairment between subjects of different gender, age and educational level.2.Kidney deficiency and cognitive impairment were correlated with each dimension(P< 0.05),and there was a low negative correlation between kidney deficiency and cognitive impairment(P< 0.05).There was a low negative correlation with language,a moderate negative correlation with attention,a moderate negative correlation with visual space / executive function, and a low positive correlation with use.3.there was a correlation between phlegm turbidity and cognitive impairment in all dimensions(P< 0.05).There was a low negative correlation with memory,a negative correlation with language,a negative correlation with attention,a low negative correlation with visual space / executive function, and a positive correlation with application.4.Blood stasis and cognitive impairment, memory function and attention function. There was a correlation between visual space / executive function(P<0.05),a low negative correlation with memory,a negative correlation with attention, and a low negative correlation with visual space / executive function. Conclusion:There was a correlation between syndrome factors and cognitive impairment in aMCI patients with kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome, mainly negative correlation.
