Clinical Research On Treating Qi-Deficiency And Blood-Stasis Syndrome Of Cerebral Watershed Infarction With Benefiting Qi And Invigorating Blood Circulation

Objective: To observe the curative effect of treating Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis Syndrome of Cerebral Watershed infarction(CWI)by Benefiting Qi and invigorating Blood circulation with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and Taohong Siwu Decction.And then find a scientific and effective method to treat CWI in this type of syndrome.Method: Patients with CWI in Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis Syndrome were selected from December 2017 to December 2018 in the Department of Encephalopathy,affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of TCM.A total of 60 cases up to the standard were recruited and randomly divided into two groups.All patients received basic treatment for stroke.The control group received routine treatment such as anti-platelet aggregation,lipid-regulating and plaque-stabilizing,brain protection and Blood Volume Expansion.Treatment group were additionally provided with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction and Taohong Siwu Decction.A two-week course was involved in treatment.One neurological doctor was designated to evaluation TCM syndrome score,NIHSS and Barthel index before and after treatment.Use statistical methods to process and analyze data and get the final conclusion.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,onset time and common high-risk factors between the two groups(P>0.05).2.NIHSS score: There was no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment.NIHSS score in both groups decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the level of treatment group was notable than that of control group(P<0.05).3.Barthel index: There was no statistical difference between the two groups before treatment.Barthel index in both groups increased after treatment(P<0.05),and the level of treatment group was notable than that of control group(P<0.05).4.TCM syndrome score: TCM syndrome score in both groups decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the level of treatment group was notable than that of control group(P<0.05).5.TCM efficacy: 2 cases were cured,18 cases had marked effect,8 cases were effective and 2 had no effect in treatment group.1 case were cured,10 cases had marked effect,15 cases were effective and 4 had no effect in control group.Total effective rate in treatment group(93.33%)was higher than that in control group(90.00%)(P<0.05).Conclusion: The method of Benefiting Qi and invigorating Blood circulation combined with western medicine can improve neurological impairment and activity of daily living,and decrease TCM syndrome score,which was more effective than western medicine merely.
