Objective: To study the overall therapeutic effect of Governor Vessel Three-Needles(Baihui,Shenting and Fengfu)on cognitive impairment after acute cerebral infarction and its effect on inflammatory factor hs-CRP,and to analyze and explore the mechanism. The aim of this study is to provide an economical, safe and effective treatment for the rehabilitation of CI patients after acute cerebral infarction. Methods: The Montreal Cognitive Assessment scale was used to evaluate the cognitive function of patients with acute cerebral infarction treated in the Department of Neurology and the Department of Cerebrovascular surgery, the first affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from January 2017 to February 2019.60 patients with cognitive dysfunction were screened out. They were randomly divided into acupuncture group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The patients in the control groupwere given basic treatment, and the cognitive function was trained by professionals. On the basis of the control group, the patients in the acupuncture group were mainly treated with Governor Vessel Three-Needles(Baihui,Shenting and Fengfu). The levels of serum High-sensitivity C-reactive protein were measured before treatment and two weeks after treatment.National Institute of Health stroke scale,Modified Barthel index,Montreal cognitive assessment and Neurobehavioral cognitive status examination were used to evaluate the degree of neurological impairment in patients.Daily living ability and cognitive ability.Results:1.Before treatment,hs-CRP,NIHSS,MBI,Mo CA and NCSE values of the twogroups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).2.Intra-group comparison: hs-CRP and NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and MBI,Mo CA and NCSE scores were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: hs-CRP and NIHSS scores of acupuncture group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05),and MBI,Mo CA and NCSE scores were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The rehabilitation program based on du Mai three needles can improve the degree of neurological impairment, activities of daily living and cognitive ability of CI patients after acute cerebral infarction, and can significantly reduce the inflammatory response of CI patients. It is easy to operate, safe and effective, and is worthy of clinical application.
