The annual report is a systematic document for the company to review and summarize the operation of the company in the last year and to provide a general guideline for the development of the next year.In recent decades, with the increasingly frequent economic and trade exchanges between China and foreign countries, the annual report of listed companies,as the most informative and applied text,is widely used in cooperation and exchanges among companies.Translating the annual reports of well-known foreign companies into Chinese helps our enterprises to grasp the global economy in the most comprehensive and objective way. This report is based on the translation of the first part of Bunge's 2016 annual report, which covers the corporate operation, corporate finances, performance indicators, risk management, foreign exchange, international economic and trade organizations,etc..The author takes Chinese translation of passive sentences of the annual report as the research object in this report, and makes a detailed description and summary. This report is based on Skopos theory.By analyzing the actual translation cases,it summarizes that English passive sentences can be translated into Chinese active sentences and Chinese passive sentences.Based on the actual translation materials, the author analyzes and summarizes the translation methods of passive sentences in the annual report, and hopes to provide references for the translation of the passive sentence in the English annual report in the future.
