With,the development of politics and economy in China,teaching Chinese as a second languang has become increasingly important in the international arena.Thanks to the open support of the imperial family in Thailand and the active cooperation of the Ministry of Basic Education,Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has been highly valued in Thailand.The New HSK test is a standardized test for testing the Chinese proficiency of non-native Chinese speakers developed by the National Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in 2009.For different exam purposes,the number of participants in the HSK test increases year by year.The HSK level certificate is also more and more approved and has become Thailand's official certification.According to statistics,Thai students get the lowest score in the writing part of the new HSK4.The "Sentence Completion" section involves a large number of grammar items,with a large score accounting for 60%of the written portion.Therefore,this article studies the new HSK4 "Sentence Completion".The paper is divided into the following five sections:?.Introduction.Introduction to the research background,theoretical and pra ctical significance of this study,then explain the research objects and the resea rch methods used.Besides,based on the research of new HSK question types,vocabulary and grammar,and the study of grammatical errors in Thai students,we will sort out the previous research;?.Analyze the basic features and examination methods of the new HSK4"Sentence Completion",and summarize the grammar items appearing in this question type from three aspects;?.Using annual tests as a specimen,design a "Sentences Completion" test paper with testing 95 students from Suankularb Wittayalai School.Then analyze the biased grammar items based on classification examples.Besides supplements case interviews to understand student profiles better;?.According to the above analysis,make suggestions from two aspects of vocabulary and grammar,and help Thai students to develop the scores and language level more specifically.?.Conclusion,make a comprehensive summary of the analysis of the full text,and point out the deficiencies of this article.This article aims to provide a feasible reference for teaching in this area through quantitative and qualitative research.And make teachers more targeted in teaching.
