Studies On Protection And Development Of Lotus Street-Baihuazhou Historical And Cultural District

Jinan is a historical and cultural city due to its profound cultural background in China.However,with the rapid development of urban construction in recent years,the old town was under heavy impact.It is an important and urgent urban development project now that how to deal with the relationship between old town protection and urban development to make it adopt to this trend,meanwhile keeping the tradition and characteristics of the old town.The historical and cultural district is the important part of Jinan,so its protection is crucial in the system of cultural heritage protection,the key point of building city characteristics,remembering city history and inheriting traditional culture.Lotus Street-Baihuazhou Historical And Cultural District is the largest and most perfectly conserved traditional district with high value in history,humanity and science,reflecting the idea of building city on the basis of mountain and water.With the renovation of Jinan old town,the problem of its conservation and redevelopment has become more obvious.It is extremely urgent to take effective measures to revitalize the historical district on the basis of protecting its historical information,not only for the historical district protection,but also for the protection of this historical and cultural city.By the means of the methodology of Investigating,analyzing and solving problems and professional theories,the author makes an analysis on the problems and challenges the old district is facing,put forward some proposals for protection and renovation of Lotus Street-Baihuazhou Historical And Cultural District,and take a useful research of the old town conservation and renovation.With "Lotus Street-Baihuazhou" such a historical and cultural district with spring city characteristics as an example,the thesis states traditional commerce culture,spring culture of City-Spring coexistence and folk culture of temple fair of this old district.By reviewing and summarizing the practice and achievements in its protection,the thesis analyzes the problems and challenges in the process of its protection and throw out questions and suggestions to seek out the effective ways of protecting the historical and cultural district.Meanwhile,this thesis also makes an exploration on the protection of intangible cultural heritage so as to inherit the city's context,enhance the spring city's vitality an build up spring city's image.
