Through a personal investigation of the zero beginning level student in the French background,combined with the theory and method of action research,the author makes a one-on-one training to improve the ability of reading Chinese characters,in order to summarizes a set of methods and strategies for Chinese characters teaching for such students,and provide some experience and lessons for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the reason and significance of the topic,the research status,the characteristics of action research,the process and the object,method and process of this research.The second chapter analyzes the object background and problems of the study;through interviews to determine the student's problems and learning situation,and analyze the causes of the problem to determine the training methods.Chapter three is the concrete implementation of the action research.According to the action plan,the implementation plan,the post-training test,the evaluation and the reflection step,the practical action of the character training is finished.Chapter four summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of action research and the shortcomings of this paper.
