Action research is a kind of exploratory research which is require the teachers doing research on the basic teaching phenomena and principles in classroom.The teacher plays as a instructor and researcher,so naturally,it made the teaching and research together.Action Research mainly includes the Action and the Research.The Action refers to determine the problems in teaching and take corresponding measures to improve the teaching effect;Research refers to observe the effect of the improvenment measures.This article adopts several methods of study,including document research,action research,experience sum-up methodand interview method.Among them,the action research is the most important method.In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL)action research has not been widely implemented.This article selects the practical problems during my teaching experience in No.180 public school in Georgia,combining the action research theory with the practice.according to the action step:finding identifying and analysing problems,designing solutions,action and reflection,the study describe the process. I design two kinds of teaching schemes for two groups of Chinese learners,in order to improving the character recognition ability of the students,and I also collect the research materials through classroom observation,based on the interview and teacher’s self -evaluation,then reflect the teaching plan and improve the teaching plan and then make implementation,at last,evaluate the teaching plan and summarize the experience.This article is divided to five parts.The first part is about the background of the article especially the basic theory -action reaearch,and also elaborated research situation from the perspective of the action research.The second part is about the objects,not only includes the students but also the book.The third part is about the problem and also analyse the reason of the problem.The forth part is the most important part of the article,it is the presentation of the documentation elaborated the process of the action research.The last part is about the reflection about the research and also the concludes the article.
