In recent years,the study of Mandarin has globally grown around the world,more and more foreign students from Central Asia countries come to China to learn Chinese,Among them,there are many special students who belong to Donggan nation.Since these students belong to Hui nationality in Shanxi and Gansu province,they can speak Donggan language which is a variation from Chinese dialect,they are a special subject in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.Therefore,it is more and more important to develop teaching method system to aim at Donggan students.Therefore,how to effectively teach idiom for Donggan students and help them profoundly understand idiom's features and cultural meaning become urgent problems to be solved in our teaching process.As a special vocabulary form,Chinese idiom includes very deep culture implications,it reflects Chinese national culture.Idiom plays an important role in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language,Somehow,it is a good way to respond Donggan students' Chinese proficiency.To analyze and discuss Chinese idiom acquisition about foreign students can enrich cultural teaching method in the class,it can also help students understand Chinese culture.If Students often use idioms in the spoken language,it can enhance their expressive ability.The paper takes inter-language theory and error-analysis as theoretical basis.The original materials are from Donggan students' test paper and homework,which are about 312 essays.Firstly,the paper introduced three aspects about Chinese idiom,which included concept,classification and features.On the basis of Chinese idiom introduction,the author calculated the quantity of idioms in a series of Developing Chinese.Then,the author choose some idioms that are often used in our life to make survey about idiom acquisition for Donggan students.Thirdly,according to the result of questionnaire and original materials collected from Donggan students' test paper and homework,the author divided the errors of Chinese idiom acquisition by Donggan students into four aspects,which are form errors,semantic errors,pragmatic errors,grammar errors,cultural difference errors.It also concluded the reason about these errors into two fields.Finally,the author put forward four suggestions forteaching idioms to Donggan students,such as pay more attention to Chinese idioms' written form,actual meaning and function.To introduce idioms' background and use diversifying methods also can help Donggan students learn Chinese idioms.
