A Practice Report On The C-E Translation Difficulties And Strategies Of Chinese Complex Sentences In An Introduction To Electric Actuation Locomotive(Chapter ?)

Adhering to the spirit of �Made in China 2025� and �One Belt One Road�initiative,China's overseas high-speed railway cooperation projects have been rapidly increasing in recent years.China's high-speed railway technology is advanced,safe and reliable,and its cost has a competitive advantage.Project exchanges related to it need to be standardized,and relevant C-E translation studies need to follow up.Taking the translation of the textbook An Introduction to Electric Actuation Locomotive as the study object,this paper analyzes the C-E translation of Chinese complex sentences in the textbook.Chinese complex sentences are complex in structure,logic and hierarchical relationship,which causes the difficulties in translation.Therefore,this paper illustrates the key points and difficulties of coordinate complex sentences,multiple complex sentences and complex sentences with �Ba� structure,and proposes some feasible translation methods and strategies including literal translation,reconstruction,omission,merger,division and some other strategies to solve them.This paper consists of four chapters: Chapter ? introduces the background,significance and content of this project and also explains the translation standard and task.Chapter ? describes the translation procedure.Chapter ? analyzes translation difficulties and offers solutions.Chapter ? summarizes the achievements and some problems of this project.Among these chapters,Chapter ? is the main body.It analyzes the characteristics of the source language and uses the communicative theory to solve the C-E translation problems of the Chinese complex sentences including the coordinate complex sentences,multiple complex sentences and complex sentences with�Ba� structure.
