The topic selection in this thesis originates from the practical teaching of primary HSK exercise class.The research took 17 weeks and the primary HSK exercise class of Shanghai foreign language school were taken as a research object.This thesis based on the primary level International students' learning situation,combined with the theory and methods of action research,according to these steps :find clues,to identify the cause of the problem,analyze,design,implement plan,analyze results,reflect control steps,and then analyze students' performance and change in the HSK exercise class.At last,the thesis summarizes a set of suitable teaching and training methods for such students,and provides some practical reference for HSK small-class teaching.The present research consists of two phases.The first phase starts from Sept.14 th to Sept.30th2017,and it's research object is the first level of HSK.At the beginning of the first phase,the present author noticed from the interview of other teacher and the test of students the following problems:Pinyin spelling were not accurate;others neglected and motivation deprived;an atmosphere of boredom covered the class.Based on my analysis,hypotheses are made follows:linguistic transference is the cause of spelling problems;unsuitable for the first time to come to China;learning style of Japanese and Korean students.After ensure these problems,the author carried out the First-Phase Action Research and collected data throughout the process.After one mouth,it has been found that students' listening levels have improved significantly.Most students can participate in classroom interactions and their enthusiasm for answering questions in class is greatly enhanced.The first phase of the action research has met with initial success but there are still some other problems,such as the widening gap between students' levels,the higher error rate in sentence type dialogues,and the alienation between teachers and students.To further solve the problems,the author carried the Second Phase Action Research which started from Oct.12 ed 2017 to Jan.4th 2018.Due to the emergence of new students and new issues,the author adjusted the action plan and conducted new exercises for Pinyin students to keep the new students up to date.The second phase of assessment is based on teacher logs,questionnaires,student interviews,and student results.According to the author's teaching observation,the teacher-student relationship has made significant progress compared to the second phase of action research;the error rate of sentence type dialogues hasdropped;the new students' phonetic spelling ability has made great progress;and the student gap has also narrowed.Summarizing the results of the two phases of research,this study basically achieved the purpose of initial design.This study has improved the students' understanding of primary HSK,made them have corresponding progress in listening and reading,and the enthusiasm in the classroom has also improved.The author through the two stages of action research has a deeper understanding and understanding of the learning style of young Japanese and Korean students and small class teaching,and has accumulated some experience in how to improve the level of listening and reading,enhance the enthusiasm of class and narrow the gap in the practice class..This thesis is divided into five chapters: The first chapter is the introduction,the reasons and significance of the topic selection,the research ideas and methods,the theoretical basis and the research review.The second chapter is the basic information of the sample.The third chapter is the basic situation of the first stage of action research,according to students' test score and teachers log to find the problem,design a plan of action,and then carry out the plan,at last analyze gains and losses of the action on the basis of the classroom teaching observation and log.The fourth chapter is the specific progress of the second stage of the action research,according to the students learning characteristics and problems of the first stage to design plan,carry out the plan,then have a test,at last make the final evaluation and reflection combined with the survey of students.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the gain and loss of the research of this thesis and the shortcomings of this paper.
