As the pillar industry in China,the Textile and garment industry has a Large scale but its strength is not strong.Due to the lack of the mining of consumers demands in the brand clothing design,the clothing products in our country is lack of the innovation ability and the trend of product homogeneity is serious.It is difficult to adapt to the changing individual demands of consumers in the era of consumption upgrade.Therefore,focusing on consumers,mining the consumer data,optimizing the design methods and enhancing the brand value have become the focus of how to improve the competitiveness of the brand clothing enterprise.Under this background,this paper carrys out a study of how consumer data involve in the brand clothing theme design from the angle of the industry design.It integrates the existing information system of brand clothing enterprise,sets up a user personars database of the apparel consumers,and then proposes the framework of how consumer data involve in the the product theme design to help the fashion designer to gather and analyse consumer demands,reduce the subjectitive and ensure the scientificity,accuracy and flexibility of fashion design.In the end,this paper applys this framework to the Sundance Clothes based on the present situation of this company,expounds and proves the scientificity and feasibility of this framework to make it effective for the brand clothing enterprises.The significance of this paper in theory and practice is as follows:In the theory,this paper takes full advantage of the user centered design concept of industrial design,researchs on the brand clothing theme design by the means of literature research,summarizes the methods of the consumer data collection and application of the brand clothing enterprise Sundance by the field research method,and then proposes the framework of how the consumer data involve in the product theme design.It is a theoretical innovation research on the integration of the specialization of industrial design and the digitalization of Textile and Garment industry.In practice,the proposal and application of the framework will realize the consumer centered interactive fashion collaborative design mode.It will turn the serial process of the clothing products' whole life cycle into the reticulated and full process involved cloud service platform based on the consumer data and eventually facilitate the integration of industrial design and fashion design,production,sales and other business activities in the clothing enterprises.
