| The corpus of the simulated interpretation is from Phoenix TV Premiere,an economic program,Front-line Money: Revelation Concerning RMB Exchange Reform.Its content is mainly divided into two parts.One is the content about the program itself,the other is the content about interviewee.The corpus has obvious stylistic forms,prominent themes,strong logic,strict structure and the interviewees were all unscripted.Their colloquial language is prominent,and has some grammatical problems,which make difficulties for the author to interpret accurately and fluently.The program introduces issues related to China's RMB exchange rate in future,which involves professional content and extensive information.The interpreter carried out simulated consecutive interpreting,analyzing the translation,summarizing the difficulties and strategies of interpreting,so as to improve the quality of interpretation.The author finds that long sentences,extra position,repeated words and repeated structure are difficult points in the simulated interpretation.In order to solve these problems,the author puts forward the corresponding solutions.The author interprets long sentences with omission,division and variable order.In extra position,the author interprets by breaking the sentence and using conversion method;In repeated words and repeated structures,the author uses the substitute method and the combination method.The flexible use of these strategies can effectively improve the quality of the interpretation.Therefore,the interpreted text can better convey the information of the source language and much accord with the expression habit of the target language.The purpose of the interpretation report is to achieve better consecutive interpretation.And the interpretation report probes into the application of relevant interpretation strategies in specific cases.The interpreter hopes this interpretation report can bring useful inspiration and reference for other interpreters. |
