Studying Culture: A Practical Introduction is mainly used in cross-cultural communication and media courses,and has certain authority and representativeness.This practice takes the book Studying Culture: A Practical Introduction as the original text and the practice report is based on the most practical representative Chapter: Case Study: Global Tourism.By describing the translation process,the difficulty of translation,corresponding solutions are put forward with the examples so as to provide reference and experience for the translation practice in the future.This report is divided into four parts,which summarize the translation practice in four aspects: translation task description,translation process introduction,translation case analysis,and translation practice summary.The first part mainly explains the source of the materials and the background of the work;the second part briefly describes the preparation before translation,during translation and after translation;the third part is the main part of this report which is a case analysis from the lexical level,the syntactic level and the textual level;the fourth part is the sublimation of the report which summarizes the problems and gains in the process of this translation practice in order to better guide the study and practice in the future.This report is not only a more comprehensive and deeper exploration of culture,but also a direct communication with tourism and communication."Strengthening cultural confidence" is not just a slogan,but also a vane of actions.It is said that "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day,teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime".While promoting the achievements of national culture,we should further study the culture to dissminate the culture in a more scientific and efficient way.
