In the past,people believed that the facial expressions of individuals were the key to understanding their inner feelings and motivations.However,the emergence of research on "emotional display rules" has revealed to us that individual facial expression does not necessarily represent his inner true feelings.A large number of studies have shown that this ability of emotional dissemblance is influenced by external factors such as family environment,social culture,and other factors in addition to its own factors,such as Verbal ability and temperament.As a basic unit of the society,family is not only the beginning of socialization of children,but also an important place for their physical and mental health development.Therefore,based on previous studies,this study explored the developmental characteristics of children's emotional dissemblance and their relationship with family environment.Mixed experiment design of this study selected 118 4-6 year old children at random as subjects from two kindergartens in Xinyang and Zhumadian by Using the situational story method and the questionnaire method.The purpose of the first Study was to investigate the developmental characteristics of emotional dissemblance in children aged 4-6 years in China by situational storytelling.It includes gender,age,situation type(positive situation,negative situation)and dissemblance motivation(Pro-social motivation,self protection motivation)and the development characteristics of emotional dissemblance of children.Study 2 combined the “Parental Parenting Style Questionnaire” and the “Family Emotional Expression Questionnaire” to examined the relationship between the family's education environment and children's emotional dissemblance ability,including the parental parenting style and the characteristics of family emotions,and then to explore the relationship between between the three.By collecting and analyzing the collected data,this study reached the following conclusions:Conclusion 1 There were no significant gender differences in the development of Children's Emotional dissemblance.Conclusion 2 There was a significant age difference in the level of motivation of children's emotional dissemblance ability.There was no significant difference in the gender of the children in the prosocial goals.Conclusion 3 Children's scores in negative situations were significantly higher than those in positive situations.It also increased with age,but there was no gender difference.Conclusion 4 There was a main effect of age on children's 4-6 years old children's real emotion understanding ability under different situational types,but there was no significant difference in gender.Conclusion 5 The expression of positive emotions was more than negative emotions.Family emotional total score is positively correlated with total score of children's emotional dissemblance,and has a positive predictive effect on it.Conclusion 6 Father's democracy rearing style was related to the total score of children's emotional dissemblance and the pro-social motivation score.Father's relaxation parenting traits were related to pro-social motivation scores.In addition,father's democratic rearing style has a positive effect on the pro-social motivation of children.
