In the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the painting and calligraphy art of Wu is very flourishing.It's very famous which headed by Wen Zhengming in Suzhou area.There are many members are good at writing and painting in Wen's family and large numbers of outstanding people come forward and take the lead in their family but Wen Boren is the most exceptionally.The ancient law of the landscape painting,integrate various,the styles are varied.Wen Boren and Wen Zhengming have the relationship of uncle and nephew.The style of landscape painting comes from family leaning.The style influenced by Wen Zhengming.It leak out the special simple and elegant breath of Wen literary landscape in the work,on the basis of this,took as Wang Meng's who was the master of the Yuan Dynasty.And grasp words and composition well.The composition of a picture is very superlative.The extent reached is very luxuriant.The writing is vigorous,thus it had an important influence in the special painting style.It injected fresh vitality for its beautiful and refined style.Wen Boren seeked an orninous official career.Then he lived by selling his pictures.He traveled many places,such as Beijing,Nanjing,Zhejiang and so on,except his hometown Suzhou.The places he visited were very wide.And he introduced his style into other countries in this period,he created lots of landscape painting and expanded his painting career constantly.Wen Boren's mountains-andwater painting are very popular in the painting market of later Ming Dynasty and his paintings are so beloved by collectors.The works' status in the late Ming Dynasty was much underestimated.As a Wu's successor,he transmitted his style through his new trails.
