Nowadays,in order to survive in the strong market competition,developing competitive strategy becomes a necessary part to modern enterprises.In addition to the quality and brand based on resource endowment,the competitive strategy is a key point of how to develop the company's competitive advantage.For example,Galanz achieved rapid expansion by cost leadership strategy.Hai Di Lao won the "5 stars hot pot" label by service differentiation strategy.So how to choose the suitable competitive strategy is a difficult question to many modern companies.During the 75 years history,SDXH pharmaceutical company became to the biggest manufacturer and exporter of antipyretic and analgesic API.But due to the environment protection pressures,rising of raw material cost and factory relocation,the growth rate of business revenue has been less than 5%for long time.Currently,the competitive strategy transition is the most urgent project.In this case,how to choose suitable competitive strategy and to keep the market position stable is the most important question which has to be faced.Base on the field research,this article introduces the current situation of organization structure,major business and financial status of SDXH pharmaceutical company;By PEST analysis method and the Five-force model,I analysis the internal and external environment of the company from the sides of macro environment,industry environment and core competence;And build internal and external factors(including external opportunities and threat,internal advantages and disadvantages)evaluation matrix to quantitatively analysis the market situation of SDXH pharmaceutical company.Then get the conclusion:the current external environment is suited to develop own advantages,improve the competitive strength.Meanwhile,by QSPM matrix,quantitative analysis the centralization,differentiation and cost leadership strategy,and after the qualitative comparison,it is concluded that differentiated competitive strategy is the most suitable strategy to SDXH pharmaceutical company.Based on these conclusions,to guarantee the performance of differentiated competitive strategy by formulating strategies of quality,brand,marketing,intellectual property and so on.
