A Survey Report Of Teaching Chinese In Confucius Institute At Adam Mickiewicz University In Poland

With the unceasing advancement of Belt and Road's policy,the political,economic and cultural exchanges between China and Poland are deepening.The number of Polish learning Chinese is increasing rapidly,and learning Chinese has become all the rage in Poland.Confucius institute,as the only official Chinese learning institution,has received extensive attention from the local residents of Poland.It plays an important role in local Chinese teaching and Chinese cultural promotion.The present situation of Chinese teaching in Confucius Institute at Adam Mickiewicz University,where the author teaches,is taken as the content in this report.The report analyzed the results of the questionnaire,and put forward some suggestions and ideas on the problems that arise.This report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the development course and present situation of Chinese teaching in Poland.The second chapter introduces the Chinese teaching situation of the Confucius Institute from the aspects of curriculum,teaching material and classroom teaching.Chapter three is a core part of this report.The author investigated the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute by questionnaire.The students'questionnaire is divided into four aspects:students' basic information,learning motivation,and their reflections,expectations and evaluations on Chinese learning.The teachers' questionnaire is divided into four aspects:teachers' basic information,teaching situation,satisfaction of all aspects of the Chinese teaching in Confucius institute,and their extracurricular ability.Based on author's research,practical experience and questionnaire statistics analysis,the fourth chapter points out the existing problems:in Chinese teaching in Confucius Institute and putting forward some suggestions for these problems.It is hoped that this report can provide enlightenment and reference for the continuous development of Confucius Institute and Chinese teaching in Poland.
