According to an ontology research of serial-verb sentences and comparative study of Chinese language and other foreign languages,I found that serial-verb sentences this grammatical item not only exists in the Chinese,but also other languages.Of course,the ways of expression of serial-verb sentences in different languages are different while they are similar sometimes.I chose the subordinate sentences of serial-verb sentences as the type of sentences which the students at the primary stage should acquire on the base of Xiao Xiqiang' s study.Next,I got the sequence of acquisition of the subordinate sentences of serial-verb sentences through the statistical analysis of the serial-verb sentences in the foreign language compositions of different acquisition stages in the corpus of Zhongshan University.Based on the sequence of acquisition,I also investigated the interpretation of the subordinate sentences of serial-verb sentences of three authoritative grammar syllabus and analyse the arrangement of the serial-verb sentences of four textbooks.Then I made a statistical analysis of the selection and sorting of the serial-verb sentences.By comparing the sequence of acquisition and arrangement,I found the advantages and disadvantages of the arrangement of textbooks and syllabus.
