As we all know, interpersonal communication is more or less affecting each of us.Researching college students5 interpersonal communication is particularly important.Reciprocal behavior has important meanings to the individual's social development.Upstream indirect reciprocity refers to the phenomenon that the individual helps the third individual after accepting the help of someone else. That is love transmission which we usually understand. That is,passing on the others' love to the next person. Many evidences show that upstream indirect reciprocity can promote social interaction and cooperation. At present,we do not know much about the psychological factors that affect the upstream indirect reciprocity. However, with the development of the internet, the proportion of upstream indirect reciprocity is increasing gradually and more common in human communication and interpersonal interaction. Thus studying the internal mechanism of the interpersonal phenomenon is of great importance and positive significance. Therefore, starting from the realistic meaning, basing on the previous study of upstream indirect reciprocity, our study attempts to explore the college students' upstream indirect reciprocity, and try to understand the internal mechanism of the process. In this way,we can enrich the research of upstream indirect reciprocity. We can promote the occurrence of individual cooperative behavior and the beautiful construction of social ecology.Study 1 used the method of questionnaire to discuss the upstream indirect reciprocity of 500 college students and explored the influence of emotion and psychological capital on upstream indirect reciprocity. The results show that the upstream indirect reciprocal behavior is common among the college students, and the way of others treatment(help or no helps)affects upstream indirect reciprocity.Compared to those who have no helps from others, the individuals who have been helped by others are inclined to transfer "love" and become more willing to help the others. At the same time, the influence of emotion and psychological capital on upstream indirect reciprocity is also discussed,in which gratitude, indebtedness and psychological capital have a significant mediating effect on upstream indirect reciprocity.Study 2 explored the influence of narcissism on upstream indirect reciprocity. The results showed that when individuals got help, narcissism had a significant influence on the behavior of helping others, and the level of helping behavior toward others of low narcissistic individuals was significantly higher than that of high narcissistic individuals;when individuals did not get help, there were no significant differences in the level of helping behavior among the individuals of high and low narcissistic groups. The above research can help us understand the development and change of upstream indirect reciprocity better.Through the above study,we can provide some guidance and advice for college students' interpersonal communication. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The upstream indirect reciprocity is common among college students. The way of others' treatment(help or no helps)affects the upstream indirect reciprocity.(2)Emotion and psychological capital play multiple mediating role in upstream indirect reciprocity.(3)Narcissism plays a marginal significance moderating role in the upstream indirect reciprocity.
