Psychological Capital, Social Impact Study On College Students Interpersonal Support

College students are the future of the society and they shoulder the mission to build up the future. However, in today’s campus, many college students are troubled by interpersonal relationship problems and this will influence college students’growth and development to some degree. Therefore, it is becoming a focus in psychological field to research college students’interpersonal relationship.This research aims to explore the status and relations of college students’psychological capital, social support and interpersonal relationship. Basic Information Questionnaire, Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire(PPQ), Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and Interpersonal Relationship Inegrated Diagnosis Scale(IRIDS) were randomly applied to college students in Shaanxi Province and384valid sample information was acquired. Independent sample t test and variance analysis were used to explore the influence of demographic variables on college students’psychological capital, social support and interpersonal relationship; correlation analysis was used to explore the relations of college students’psychological capital, social support and interpersonal relationship; regression analysis was used to explore the prediction of psychological capital and social support to college students’interpersonal relationship; futhermore, this research explored the mediating effect of social support between psychological capital and interpersonal relationship. The results were as follows:(1) Psychological capital of college students in Shaanxi Province was above the average level, social support of college students in Shaanxi Province was above the average level and interpersonal relationship of college students in Shaanxi Province was above the average level.(2) Demographic variables had a certain influence on college students’psychological capital, social support and interpersonal relationship:sibling condition, student origin and subject had significant influence on college students’psychological capital; gender, sibling condition, student origin and grade had significant influence on college students’social support; gender, subject and grade had significant influence on college students’ interpersonal relationship. (3) College students’psychological capital and interpersonal relationship were of significantly positive correlation; college students’social support and interpersonal relationship were of significantly positive correlation; college students’psychological capital and social support were of significantly positive correlation.(4) College students’psychological capital had a significant prediction to interpersonal relationship; college students’social support had a significant prediction to interpersonal relationship; college students’psychological capital had a significant prediction to social support; social support was a mediating variable of psychological capital and interpersonal relationship and the mediating effect occupied21.40%of the total effect.Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out the related education of college students’ psychological capital and promote their social support level to solve college students’ interpersonal relationship problems.
