The Application Of Google Search Syntax To Internet Aided Translation

With the further and sustaining development of internet and information technology,the network search engine has an increasingly significant role in Internet aided translation.As one of the world's well-known network search engines,Google search engine has become a popular internet aided translation tool among a number of translators for its convenience,accuracy and objectivity.Through the search engine network resources can be shared together,and translators can use available information during translation practice for gaining beneficial assistance and guidance.Based on this,how to efficiently apply the search engine to the Internet aided translation has been a subject of great concern for translators.In this thesis,the author uses the example of notarized documents projects to expound the application of Google search syntax to Internet aided translation in detail,including concrete ways to utilize and screen.And to improve the translation,regulate the format and raise the efficiency by making use of retrieved results.In the meanwhile,the thesis combines Google search syntax knowledge and the practice of Internet aided translation to deepen translators' understanding of the network search engine,tips and application of Internet aided translation,in the hope of providing reference for similar translation practice.
