With the development of new technologies like "Internet+" and "Artificial Intelligence",various intelligent robots appear in our daily life and are widely used in different usage scenarios.As the product of intelligent robots in the education industry,it has become a "hot pick" with the big commercial potential for companies to develop.The number of Patents in this industry has increased since 2016,which means it's still an emerging product.Therefore,this translation practice plays an important role in promoting our own products as well as showing the technological strength of China.Taking the part of Pudding BeanQ(an intelligent robot for child education produced by Beijing Intelligent Steward Co.,Ltd)Series as an example,with 11335 words in total,it belongs to the scope of the pragmatic text,including design description,brochures,PR releases and so on.There are lots of studies about product translation,but most of it is about operation instructions,which is totally different to Pudding BeanQ Series.Guided by Skopos theory,this thesis represents the impacts of customers' requirements and how it affects the translation process and the quality of translation in a project under the fact of the user-centered environment,which is valuable for the translation of intelligent robots for children early-education.There are four chapters.Chapter 1 is the description of the translation task,including the background of the task,requirements of the client and task description.Chapter 2 is translation process of the task.It describes the entire process of the translation task in detail in preparations before translation,translation process,and arrangements after translation.Chapter 3 is reflections on the translation task.Guided by Skopos theory,it mainly analyzes what kinds of strategies we need to choose to meet three kinds of representative "client's requirements".It includes "lessened translation" and "combined translation" under the needs of word count requirement;"indirect translation" for showing the product "highlights";"additional translation"and "adaptive translation",to make it easier for readers to understand.Chapter 4 is the conclusion.According to the actual effect of translation,the author finds that client's requirements do have positive effects on translation process and the quality of the translation.Meanwhile,the author summarizes unsolved problems and reviews herself,which is very helpful for the study in the future.
