A Report On The Translation Of Cybercrime Prevention And Law Enforcement (Chapters 3-5)

This is a report of translation from English into Chinese.The original text is an excerpt from Chapters3-5 of the doctoral dissertation Cybercrime Prevention and Law Enforcement: A Comparative Analysis of Nigeria and the United States of America of Texas Southern University.The original text takes Nigeria and the United States of America as examples to introduce their cybercrime situation,and how to decrease and deal with cybercrime problem.This introduction gives great help to the present cybercrime problem of our country.As an academic work,the content of the original text involves legal knowledge,which is strong in specialty and long in difficult sentences.On the basis of Chinese-foreign language comparability,different translation strategies such as transition,division and so on are adopted to solve the problems in the translation of terminologies and of the long and complicated sentences and the selection of part of speech and adjustment of sentence sequence.In addition,the detailed analysis and learning of the relevant materials,particularly terminologies and proper nouns,to the original text make the translation more appropriate.Through translating Cybercrime Prevention and Law Enforcement: A Comparative Analysis of Nigeria and the United States of America(Chapters 3-5),the translator acquires a deeper understanding of cybercrime enforcement and further improves her translation ability.In August 15,2017,the translator searched the original text in the network and did not find a Chinese translation(with screenshots).
