The Research Of Tongcheng's Jinshi In Qing Dynasty

How many Jinshi in Tongcheng in Qing Dynasty?There is no exact and only figure in numerous ancient books.Although there are specific figures in some ancient books,the figures are lack of credibility because the number of Jinshi is incomplete due to early deadline or the number is wrong due to muddled statistical standard and the lack of analysis.This paper will take the "Tongcheng Jinshi in Qing Dynasty" as the research object,do textual research on the exact number of Jinshi in Tongcheng in Qing Dynasty by literature research method,and strive to objectively show the imperial examination's achievement of Tongcheng in the Qing Dynasty.This paper is divided into three parts.Chapter one establishes the statistical standard of Jinshi and native place that have direct influence on textual findings.On the basis of collected literature data-chapter two does the individual research about Tongcheng's Jinshi in Qing Dynasty in detail,from three aspects including native place,name and the imperial examination time when he became a Jinshi.It proves that there are 152 Jinshi in Tongcheng in Qing Dynasty.In order to clear and objective show,the paper will write brief biographies of these Jinshi.Chapter three summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of Tongcheng's Jinshi in Qing Dynasty,according to the above research results.In the matter of number,the number of Tongcheng's Jinshi in Qing Dynasty is large.Thinking from the spatial and temporal distribution,the number of Tongcheng's Jinshi dist:ribution is not uniform in different periods of Qing Dynasty Analysing from the family distribution,Tongcheng's Jinshi in Qing Dynasty has strong concentration.ln addition,this chapter briefly looks for the reasons why Tongcheng achieved outstanding success in imperial examination in Qing Dynasty.We find that immigrants moved to Tongcheng before Qing Dynasty,the influence of famous families such as Zhang,Yao,Fang and developed culture and education have provided great inpetus for the emergence of imperial examination talents in Tongcheng in Qing Dynasty.
