This study mainly includes seven parts.The first part: Put forward the background of the research question,expound the theoretical and practical significance of applying the process evaluation in the evaluation of primary school English students.Through reading the literature and understanding the achievements of educational experts in both theory and practice at home and abroad,this paper lays a theoretical foundation for this research.The second part introduces the reform and development trend of formative evaluation and analyzes the specific operability of English formative evaluation of primary schools.,Explaining the elementary English formative assessment of listening,speaking,reading,and writing: the links and connotations,constituent elements,ideas,strategies,and procedures,and making adequate preparations for practice;third to sixth parts: clarifying in the formative evaluation The specific evaluation task is to use the author's teaching practice as “fertile ground” to carry out formative evaluation through listening,speaking,reading,and writing the main composition,basic requirements,core elements,and actual teaching examples of four different types of task design.Verify the results of the previous theoretical research;make detailed descriptions of the specific scoring requirements and rule steps in the practice process,and reflect the spiral of the entire formative evaluation by means of a total-point-total-total integration approach the process is also a spiraling process in which students develop their self in practice.Through a comprehensive analysis of the process of practical exploration,the application value and practical significance of formative assessment for primary school English student learning and teacher education are described.Part seventh: Completely collate the problems encountered in practical exploration and the deficiencies of this strategy,try to analyze and solve,and further consider the follow-up research direction.
