As one of the newly emerging industries, cultural & creative industries are knowledge-intensive with high-tech equipped, which play a more and more important role in economic development. In addition, they're also green industries of low consumption and low pollution, which have significant meanings for building a resource-conserving and environment-friendly society. Therefore, the cultural &creative industries have received universal attention all over the world. The study on agglomeration of the cultural & creative industries can reflect the degree of specialization and development potential of cultural & creative industries in specific regions, which is of vital significance to improve the development of cultural &creative industries. This paper uses the research strategy of the phenomenon-law-mechanism.It also uses the discipline ideas of humanistic geography and regional economics for reference.Besides,it combined the analysis approach quantitatively, qualitatively, theoretically and empirically.Firstly, this paper uses the location quotient index to measure the level of cultural & creative industry agglomeration of the cities from2005 to 2015 in China.Secondly,it analyzes the spatial and temporal pattern of cultural & creative industries agglomeration in China by means of Gini coefficient and coefficient of variation. With the help of AcrGIS for mapping,GeoDa for exploratory spatial data analysis and Stata for economic analysis,on the basis of fully considering the spatial relevance of the cultural & creative industries agglomeration, this paper uses the spatial regression model to analyze the influencing factors of cultural & creative industries agglomeration in China. Finally,it gives some policy suggestion. We concluded that:(1)The distribution of cultural & creative industries in China is unbalanced, which shows the characteristics of centralized distribution in theeastern coastal areas and provincial capitals.(2)The results of the annual analysis show that the level of cultural & creative industries agglomeration in China is increasing year by year, and the eastern regions are higher than the central and western regions.Among them, the level of cultural & creative industries agglomeration in the eastern region shows a slow downward trend over time, while in the middle and western regions are slowly rising, and the development potential can not to be underestimated.(3)The study shows that there is a significant spatial correlation among cities of the urban agglomeration levels, presenting a cluster agglomeration situation.(4)In terms of the analysis of the influencing factors of cultural & creative industries agglomeration in China, the two most influential factors are agglomeration economic and economic development level, both of them have a significant positive effect.Secondly, the role of government also has a positive impact that cannot be ignored.By contrast, the role of talent, science and technology, and infrastructure is not very obvious. Finally, this paper also puts forward some relevant policy suggestions for the development of cultural & creative industries in China.
