The focus of this paper is to find out a suitable method for teaching Chinese characters by analyzing the errors of Chinese characters.The research object of this paper is Russian language preppies of CCN in Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.The average age of the students is 18 years,and the learning time is four and a half months.The paper is based on collecting,Summarizing,classifying errors of CCN students from their homework,tests,dictation of a semester,combined with the author's own teaching experience.Errors were classified from the three perspectives,strokes,parts and whole words.The reasons and countermeasures are also based on errors analyzing.The errors of strokes are: strokes adding and losing,out of shape,wrong or excessive positions,position errors,mirror errors.The errors of parts are: parts adding and losing,change or mistake using,deformation.The errors of whole characters: replaces by similar characters,homophones,similar pronunciation characters,structure errors and assemble characters by impression.Through the analysis,The reasons of errors were negative transfer of the mother language,proactive inhibition and retroactive interference,copy printing,left hand,teacher's imprecise writing and word effect.By integrating students' errors and experimental investigations,found that the difficulty of learning Chinese characters is shown in too many strokes,homophone,polyphone,near homograph,a large number of Chinese characters with rich meanings and statistics of students' difficulties.According to the present errors,Chinese characters errors type into two strategies,students learning strategies and teaching strategies.Students should study actively and correct errors.Teachers should treat students' Chinese characters in many ways,strokes,parts and whole words,to build errors libraries,review on time,standard block and teachers' writing teaching,appropriate use of modern technology study and analyze them carefully,and come up with efficient ways to reduce the bias rate.
