A Practice Report Of E-C Translation Of Financial News In The Economist

This practice report analyzes the E-C translation of 10 articles of The Economist.Based on the translation,this practice report gives an analysis of the process and fulfillment of the translation practice.The report consists of Task Description,Process Description,Pre-translation Preparation,Case Analysis and Summary.In Chapter I and Chapter II,the subject,requirement and process of the translation are introduced respectively and briefly.In Chapter III,preparatory work is recorded.In Chapter IV,the core part of this report,how to use different translation techniques to translate financial news is summarized.In Chapter V,on the basis of the above-mentioned four chapters,the features of financial news translation are summarized from the translator's practice experience and what she has learned in this task is recorded.
