With China's rise and the impact of globalization, more and more cooperation and communication have taken place between China and other countries and regions. The Eco-Resources Development of Eastern ASEAN Growth Area Seminar 2017 was conducted at Guangxi International Business Vocational College, serving as a new channel for the cooperation between China and the ASEAN countries. When cooperation takes place between two different cultures,a bridge to connect them is necessary and it is the interpreter who plays a major role in the building of this bridge. The author was chosen as the interpreter for the course titled “Development of Forestry Science and Technology in Guangxi”,one of the many courses of the seminar.Featuring rich curriculum and various inspections and investigations, the seminar played the role of a communication bridge between China and the ASEAN countries in the field of eco-resources development and management.New thoughts and technologies have been transmitted to the trainees, improving their understanding of China's work in eco-resources development and China as a whole.Classroom interpreting not only has the general characteristics of interpreting but also enjoys its own distinctiveness, which is reflected by the professional terms and its special context. The interpreter must establish an effective communication between the teacher and the students. This report is a reflection and conclusion about the consecutive classroom interpreting that the interpreter conducted for the course. The report consists of four chapters.Chapter One is the description of this interpreting task, including background information, introduction to the speaker and the audience as well as the characteristics of this interpreting task.Chapter Two illustrates the task process which includes the advance preparation,on-site interpretation, and the evaluation from the audience and entrusting party and from the interpreter herself based on the interpreting quality evaluation rules by Cai Xiaohong.Chapter Three, the main body of this report, presents the case analysis about the interpretation task. The errors happened in the process of interpretation are discussed in this chapter, such as grammatical errors, misinterpretation and so on.The challenges brought by PPT,professional terms and intensive information as well as classroom interpreting also have been proposed with some corresponding measurements and solutions. The author analyzed how to balance the efforts needed by PPT through Effort Allocation and how to ask, amend and avoid according to Lin Chaolun.Chapter Four is a reflection and conclusion of the interpreting task. Some suggestions based on the interpreter's shortcomings and weak points are presented in this chapter.
