China is playing an increasingly significant role in the world.Especially after “the Belt and Road Initiative” is proposed,she takes the responsibility of a great power,and has established friendly relations with most of countries.Language is not only the carrier of interpersonal communication,but also serves as the bridge of communication between China and other countries.With the enhancement of China's overall strength and the wide spread of its cultural charm,a great number of people throughout the world begin to learn Chinese.The most noticeable difference between Chinese and other languages is independence of Chinese language as it has no change of character form.The expression of Chinese grammatical meaning relays on use of function words and work order,for which the important position of function words in Chinese gramma is established.Preposition is a main category in function words as it not only functions as mark role,but also plays an important role in sentences,paragraphs and chapters.Preposition teaching is a key and difficulty field in the Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language(TCSL).Although domestic scholars have been researching the part of speech definition,semantics and functions of proposition,the studies on the frequently used preposition “?” are not sufficient enough.Moreover,noun of locality is a frequently used part of speech(POS)in Chinese as it has an important part in expressing the space relationship.The noun of locality has been a hot topic under study in the educational circles,and scholars have conducted relatively in-depth researches on its POS definition,semantic category,pragmatic features and other aspects.In the contact with international students,the author has found that they often make errors when using “?+X+ noun of locality ”.After consulting literatures,the author does not find any text studying the structure “?+X+ noun of locality ” based on Chinese ontology and errors.Therefore,in this paper,the literature method and corpus method are adopted to analyze the syntax,semantics and pragmatics of the prepositional structure “? +X+ noun of locality” introduced by preposition “?”,and the types of errors made in use of prepositional structure “?+X+ noun of locality” by international students at high level of Chinese proficiency from three universities in Chongqing are surveyed by means test questions.Additionally,the theory of error analysis is used to classify and analyze the errors made during tests with a view to proposing suggestions for the “?+X+ noun of locality” teaching in the future TCSL.After studying and analyzing the prepositional structure “?+X+ noun of locality”,this paper summarizes the application status of the above-mentioned structure in Chinese from three aspects.In addition,according to survey and error analysis,the author has analyzed the types of errors that learners are prone to make when using the structure and considers that the reasons for making those errors have a bearing on complexity of Chinese ontology,the negative transfer of target language knowledge,interference of mother tongue,and teaching environment.Finally,based on the survey results and error analysis,the author,in consideration of the real situation,proposes suggestions from four aspects,namely teaching,teachers,corpus and teaching materials.
