The noun of locality is always a controversial parts of speech in modern Chinese, and it is also a focus of second language teaching, in the acquisition of students is a difficulty. First of all, this paper selects the representative three of position word- "up" and "down", "inside" and "outside", "before" and "after" as the object of study, focusing on the example analysis, on the three of the common position word of ontology research in detail, discusses from the definition and scope, grammatical features and semantic features. And the "上(up)" and "下(down)", "里(inside)" and "外(outside)", "前(before)" and "后(after)" for the corresponding example analysis, combined with the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to be discussed. Secondly, because of the cognitive difference, mother tongue interference, effect of learners’ attitude and teaching factors, the locative existence certain difficulty in the acquisition of students abroad, a lot of mistakes will use, this article from the types of errors and the causes of errors for example, materials of error source in the collection of HSK dynamic composition corpus, corpus of Jinan University and Heilongjiang University study abroad students after class writing appeared errors in sentences. Finally, on the basis of taking "application contrast ways of teaching", "combining context in teaching" and "grammatical, semantic and pragmatic combination of teaching" three corresponding teaching strategies, to guide the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
