This paper is selected the three current common intermediate sets of Chinese Comprehensive Textbooks,they are New Practical Chinese Reader,Road to Success and Boya Chinese,as the research object.We will analysis the three textbook exercises from the question type,the amount of questions,the information of stem and the practice content.There are different advantages and disadvantages in the three sets of Chinese Comprehensive.The practice of complex sentences in New Practical Chinese Reader can meet the needs of intermediate level students.However,it have many problems which are not clear about the purpose of training and not get the point of contents.The advantages of the Road to Success is to give the learners explanations and examples,so that they can do exercises on the basis of fully understanding,which is easier to achieve the role of practice enhancement.But the topic is too monotonous,which makes students feel tired.The questions of Boya Chinese are most abundant of the question types and amounts.The questions have been incorporated many objective.It is can consolidate and enhance knowledge.It is more interesting and challenging.But there are too many grammar formulas in the questions.As we know,too many descriptions can increase the difficulty of understanding to students.On the basis of the analysis results and interviews with teachers and students,three suggestions are put forward for the fill in the blank of non choice answer in the intermediate Chinese comprehensive textbooks.First,the amount should be maintain a relatively stable quantity and coordinated with other questions.Second,the type should not be limited to the completing sentences or dialogues that traditional type,fill in the blank can be used in more language skills training.Third work should provide more effective information for learners,and according to the level of the learners to adjust,not just follow one type.
