On the basis of A Report on the Translation of China-European Relationship in Global Perspective(Chapter 5),this report mainly discusses the C-E translation of multiple attributes,run-on sentences and four-character phrase. This book is to convey Chinese scholars' opinions to foreign readers. This context belongs to information-oriented one, namely, focusing on information. There are many multiple attributes,run-on sentences and four-character phrase. And these translations are difficult because of differences between Chinese and English. In Chinese, when multiple attributes modify one noun,we usually put attributes in front of modifies. While,in English, they do not have these language habits so the translator needs some ways to deal with those differences and the point is how to show the logic relationship in Chinese. The translator translates multiple attributes,run-on sentences and four-character phrase into English with literal translation, appositive, attributive clauses and adding markers and other ways so that the reader can understand the connotation without rejection. The translator analyses some examples and hope these analysises can give some experience.
