With the rapid development of the information era,it is hard for traditional posters to be favored by the masses.In order to meet the demands of people,dynamic posters are developed and popularized with the appearance of New Media technology.Dynamic posters cater to the development trend of our era and usher in a new development opportunity for poster design.They bring diversified popularizing forms for poster design and widen the application areas of poster design.Their clear vision processes can better meet modern people's habit in receiving information.The diversified and dynamic visual effects can have stronger visual expressive forces and impact forces.This paper will discuss the design representation mode of dynamic posters under the New Media environment and apply the design representation to a relatively complete set of method models in the design practice of dynamic posters with the theme of Traditional Chinese festivals.Dynamic posters use the method model visualization way to display its explicit cultural characteristics and implicit cultural characteristics according to cultural characteristics of Chinese traditional festivals.Then,those factors are used to design dynamic posters to realize the organic unity of cultural values and aesthetic values of dynamic poster design works,to design dynamic posters works with cultural characteristics which can meet market demands,to improve cultural connotation of dynamic posters and to promote the inheritance and innovation of traditional festival culture.Finally,this paper tests the feasibility of the method model with the dynamic poster design cases with the theme of Traditional Chinese festivals as the carrier.Main contents of this study are as follows:First,relevant theories and methods of dynamic posters at home and abroad are analyzed;current situations and backgrounds of dynamic posters are described in details.They provide a certain method and theoretical basis for thestudy of this paper.Second,this paper makes a basic research on poster design in the era of New Media.Historical features of New Media and motivation and evolution of poster design's dynamic trends are analyzed and features and advantages of dynamic posters are summarized in this paper through researching basic concepts.Third,basic application and creation performance of dynamic posters were studied.By analyzing visual psychology and perceptual association generated by dynamic posters and using the relevance between dynamic posters and perceptual association,this paper summarizes the design ideas and production process of dynamic poster design.Fourth,visual elements with strong identification are extracted from traditional Chinese festival culture and a set of design languages with the characteristics of traditional festival culture is condensed so as to extract core design elements of traditional Chinese festival culture.Fifth,this papers designs and shows dynamic posters with Traditional Chinese Lantern Festival as a case.First,this paper innovatively designs design elements extracted from the elemental gene pool,verifies the feasibility of this method model with specific practice,which provides ideas for the development and inheritance of traditional Chinese festivals and the design of dynamic posters with cultural connotations.This paper researches the method models for visual language extraction and application contained in dynamic posters and uses the dynamic poster design case with the theme of Traditional Chinese festivals to verify the feasibility of other method models.It improves the design connotation of dynamic posters and provides theoretical basis and method model reference for the design of other dynamic posters and the research of traditional culture and it has certain enlightenment for the future design and production of dynamic posters and the propagation of traditional Chinese festivals.
